The Last Meal

The Last Meal
Judas knew the church leaders were angry with Jesus. He knew they
Wanted to capture Him. Judas, who loved money more than anything
Else, came up with a plan. He told the church leaders that he would
Take them to Jesus if they paid him a lot of money. The leader gave
Judas a large amount of silver. Now Jesus and His friends were eating
Dinner one night. Jesus said, "One of you is going to hurt Me." John
Asked Jesus to tell him the person's name. Jesus said, "It is the
Person I give bread to." Jesus then handed Judas some bread. He told
Judas, "Go and do what you planned." Only Jesus and Judas knew the
Bad thing that would now happen. Still at dinner, Jesus broke bread
For His friends. Jesus then gave all His friends some wine. He told
Them, "Whenever you have bread and wine, remember Me
" Then Jesus said, "I will be taken away from you soon
But don't be afraid. I will come back for you, my
Friends. Love each other the way I have loved you."
