Joseph's Secret Message

Joseph was having a terrible time in Egypt
Even though Joseph was good, he was put in jail
But God was still with Joseph
One of the jailers took a liking to Joseph
And allowed him to care for other prisoners

A former butler for the king of Egypt was in jail with Joseph
The butler told Joseph about the dream he had
Joseph said, "You will be freed from jail soon, and you
Will get your job back." "Don't forget me," said Joseph
Joseph wanted the butler to help him escape, but
When the butler was freed, he forgot about Joseph

One night, the Egyptian king had a dream
He dreamed about seven big ears of corn growing on one stalk
Then seven small ears of corn grew up
And ate the big ears of corn in one gulp
The king also had dreamt that seven fat
Cows were eaten whole by seven skinny cows
These dreams made the king worry
The king was worried about the dreams
So he asked the wise men what they meant
They did not know

Then the butler thought of Joseph and told the king about him
After Joseph heard the story, he said to the king, "
Egypt will have seven good years with plenty of food
Then Egypt will have seven bad years with little food." The
King, knowing Joseph was wise, made Joseph a leader in Egypt
