The Son Returns
Jesus once told this story: A man had two sons who he loved very much
The younger son was not happy living at home
He dreamed of a life far, far away from home
One day, he told his father he wanted to leave
Home to start a more exciting life far, far away
He said to his father, "I know half your land is mine
Please pay me my half now so I can leave
Here." The father gave the son his half
The son left, and at first, things were very happy for him
He did whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted
But before long, he had spent all his money
Soon, he had spent every last penny
And did not even have money for food
So, he got a job feeding animals so he could eat
He was very sad and wanted to go home, but he was worried
Worried that his dad wouldn't want him anymore
But he decided to start his journey home
As his father saw his son returning from
Far away, he ran out to hug and welcome him
The father immediately had a welcome home party for his long-lost son
God is like the father in this story
He is full of happiness when someone
Decides to praise him and return to him
