Jesus Walks On Water

Jesus walks on water
One night, Jesus was very tired
Jesus wanted to be alone and pray
For he had been very busy all day
While Jesus prayed alone up in the hills
His friends got into a boat and rowed to the other side of the lake
The wind was blowing so hard against them
That it kept sending their boat back
Jesus was able to see this
So he came to them, across the water

Jesus was walking on water
The friends were very scared by this
They didn't even recognize that it was Jesus walking to them
Jesus could see they were afraid
Jesus said, "Do not have fear, it is I."

Peter wasn't sure it was Jesus
So he said, "If you are my friend Jesus
Then let me walk on the water and come to you."
Jesus told Peter to come to him
Peter got out of the boat and started
To walk on the water towards Jesus
Everything was good

Then the wind got so strong and waves started to form
Peter began to sink
He said, "Jesus, save me!"
Jesus pulled Peter up and said
"You were walking on water, why did you get afraid?"

Then, as Peter and Jesus climbed into the boat
All the friends looked at Jesus and said
"We know you are God's son."
