Pyrophoria - Omen Lyrics

Lyrics Omen - Pyrophoria

The black birds fluttered away as I walked by
A stranger looked at me and pointed up at the sky
I nodded back and didn't ask why
A storm was brewing; I could no longer lie
The martyr in me heaved a sigh
If I were a hurricane, I'd be the Evil Eye
I'm the insomniac that sings a lullaby
You can't run from it as hard as you try
Catastrophe came with a warning sign
Off the rails with railway spine
I didn't walk; I crossed a hardline
The omens meant my fate was not mine
I heard thunder and it made plain
It was followed by a flood of blood rain
I saw myself outside the window pane
The mirror had broken in disdain
The incense rose and I went insane
I screamed up at the sky in vain
There was no other source that would explain
I should have known to get off my train
Catastrophe came with a warning sign
Off the rails with railway spine
I didn't walk; I crossed a hardline
The omens meant my fate was not mine
