Neck hurts I could really use a pillow
But the bus ticket was a real good deal though
A good meal awaits me where I'm going

I used to want to be a rockstar
I didn't really care about a big house or
Five cars
Just wanted to travel and do drugs with my friends but
Now that I'm doing that I'm more concerned with making ends
Hence, while I'm selling CD's
And believe me I got music online for free
But it doesn't help with fees and bills that need to be paid
And most 9 to 5's demean the art I've made
The only road paved is an Interstate
So I tell it I'm a genius till it tells me that I'm great
I can't escape the love that helps me heal
Or the hate that makes this whole struggle real
There's no need to conceal how I feel or who lied to me
Who I am or who I try to be
I just gotta not sit idly
Traveling this land and writing in my diary
