Subconscious - Monument Lyrics

Lyrics Monument - Subconscious

When i couldn't reach, you held me high so that i could take part in tradition.
Now that i've learned to walk, i have this tendancy to fall.
God damn this superstition.
I threw my penance to the well where the charitable drown,
But i was too young to know.
So thank you for being the hand that pulled me to the surface
That i couldn't reach on my own.
Details distract.
It almost looks like the monument they say it is.
