Subconscious - The Blackest Roses Lyrics

Lyrics The Blackest Roses - Subconscious

Won't you waltz with me tonight,
Through this graveyard where bodies long for rest?
Won't you sleep with me tonight,
On a bed of the blackest roses?
Lying next to a ghost,
These pins and needles never felt so familiar.
Absence is knowing you still think of me in love and desperation.
Our epitaph reads "here lies the body of vanity,
Where two lovers buried their hearts without procession."
A dance, a chance to resurrect the feeling that this wasn't always just an empty cavity.
