I wrote those lyrics in a notebook when I turned 14
Released some songs and realized how many people support me
And it was nice to know that despite me feeling like it I'm not alone
But truthfully I've never found peace outside the four wall of my home

A crooked head but straight smile will do the trick
Convince them I'm alright but In my stomach still be feeling sick
Affected by the way that my peers and my family view me
So I'll never give anyone the chance to know me truly

And maybe I'm a little bit overly insecure
