Äldre, släktingar... Skolan har omställts
Du kan inte längre sitta i skolan och studera
Utan allting sker digitalt numera

We didn't know how to handle the shift
Suddenly one day we were locked in our homes
With our only way of talking to each other was over our phones

Couldn't see my dad, he was in the danger zone
My mother got the virus but she pulled through it though
Everything shut down, we couldn't go
Anywhere at all, and I feel sorry for the old

Those people that lived through the struggle
To be put in homes and get lost in the shuffle
They were the ones most likely to get sick
And probably die since we couldn't counter it

Speaking of which, we don't even know the origin
Was it from a lab or from somebody biting in
Media says one thing, government another
I swear to God, I can't even be bothered

All I really know is that this is our story
And washing our hands is now a priority
I understand that times now are scary
But this is when we pull together, help each other carry

We all need somebody else
There is no shame in being scared for your health
So pick up your phone and call up your friends
Call up your family, we'll be fine in the end

Man har vart lite orolig i början och, du vet, sett i tidningar
och nyheter om vad dom säger om den här corona-krisen, men...
Jag vet inte hur mycket man kan tro på och inte men
Det har påverkat mänskligheten ganska rejält tror jag, fan...

Lockdown.
Sex veckor hemma med en två-och-ett-halvt-åring
När man inte kan gå nånstans eller träffa nån.
Det är tufft. Vänner förlorade jobb, eller blev permiterade på osäker tid.

Det var som att hela världen lamslogs över en natt
Det tog dagar innan alla började förstå vad som hade hänt
Och var det kom ifrån

So this is what it's all come to?
People can't breathe and we don't know what to do
Should we wear a mask or just stay in?
Is this our punishment for living in sin?

Or is this our planet trying to get rid of us?
Is this just another thing the government's made up?
Everywhere I turn there's a new theory
But no matter what, one thing I see clearly

Is that humanity is finally gathering
For the same cause and tryna' find a strategy
While doctors are working and nurses are struggling
I tip my hat to everyone that's keeping us healthy

See, at the darkest of moments
There is still light, so I'm praying and hoping
That soon we'll be together again after coping
With this so long that we might feel broken

Even though covid took away our live shows
Even though covid made sure the stores closed
Even though covid took so many lives
It won't be the end, but there's troubling times

But we'll push through, give it some time
I still have faith that humanity survives
But let's not forget all the ones that died
We'll miss you forever, see you on the other side

Folk som jobbar med kultur kan inte jobba med sin passion
Det vi har lagt år av träning och utbildning på...
Blod, svett och tårar - borta. Vi förlorar pengar och gig.

Vi står inför en andra våg här uppe i Europa.
Vad vi behöver göra nu är att sansa oss och titta med klara, nyktra ögon på framtiden
Vad som behövs göras, och agera därefter och vara väldigt rädda om oss själva
Och varandra

Det enda positiva är väl att familjen är mer hemma
Och man får se mer utav sin familj

"Du borde kanske skaffa ett mer stabilt jobb"
Jo, men om ingen erbjuder dans, musik, konst
Hur ska vi då kunna njuta av det när allt är över?

Familjen blir sjuk. Dom dör
Men på grund av reserestriktioner så får du inte besöka dom
Du får inte gå på begravningen för att ta farväl
Bara sitta hemma och känna dig maktlös

Hur kommer världen se ut när allt är över?
När vi kommer ut på den andra sidan?
