እንደ ፡ ሲና ፡ ምድር ፡ እንደ ፡ በረሃዉ
ጠል ፡ ከእርሱ ፡ እርቆ ፡. (1) .
ትካዜ ፡ ሰፍኖበት ፡ ሆኖ ፡ ረዳት ፡ አልባ
እንዲህ ፡ ያለው ፡ ምስኪን ፡ ልምላሜን ፡ ሰማ
አሄ ፡ ልምላሜን ፡ ሰማ

አዝ፦ ምን ፡ እልሃለው (፫x)
ከእግርህ ፡ ሥር ፡ ወድቄ ፡ አመሰግናለው (፪x)

ብቸኝነት ፡ ዓለም ፡ ወግ ፡ ሆኖ ፡ በሕይወቴ
አጠገቤ ፡ ነበር ፡ ለካስ ፡ ደጉ ፡ አባቴ
ቅርበቱን ፡ አወኩት ፡ ድምጹንም ፡ ሰማሁት
እንደ ፡ ብዙ ፡ ወዳጅ ፡ ሆኖ ፡ አገኘሁት
አሄ ፡ ሆኖ ፡ አገኘሁት

ያንን ፡ የጭንቅ ፡ ቀን ፡ የብቸኝነቴን
ክንድህ ፡ ባይረዳኝ ፡ ፀጋህ ፡ ባያግዘኝ
ኧረ ፡ እኔስ ፡ የት ፡ ነበርኩኝ (፪x)

እናት ፡ አባት ፡ ዘመድ ፡ ለእኔስ ፡ ኢየሱሴ ፡ ነው
ቀን ፡ ከሌት ፡ ስራመድ ፡ ልቤ ፡ የሚያስበው
በኛ ፡ ክፉ ፡ ቀናት ፡ ረዳት ፡ በሌላቸው
መጽናናት ፡ ሆነልኝ ፡ ዳስሼው ፡ ነክቼው
አሄ ፡ ዳስሼው ፡ ነክቼው

አዝ፦ ምን ፡ እልሃለው (፫x)
ከእግርህ ፡ ሥር ፡ ወድቄ ፡ አመሰግናለው
