Dilga ilkbor tushdi nogoh,
Dard atalgan qora ishq.
Dard debon kim aytmish onin,
Dardlarimga dori ishq.
Ish so'zi sherimga soldim,
Ishq bilan yondim va lek.
Bilmam oshiqlik nadir,
Bilmam nadir asrori ishq.

Ishq o'ti tushgan ko'ngilga,
O'zga dard begonadir.
Men bo'libman mulohaja,
Dardlarim jim bemori ishq.
Oshiq o'lmak bu azob yo,
Ishqsiz o'lmak istaro.
Zori ishq bo'ldi ko'ngil,
Garchi chekar ozori ishq.

Yearning Love

My heart has been touched for the first time,
By the love, a fire called romance.
Who says love is pain,
For me it is a cure to my pain.
I've dedicated my poems to love,
I've burned with love and melted with desire.
I don't know where love lies,
I don't know the secrets of love.

Love has taken over my heart,
All other troubles are gone.
I've become deeply thoughtful,
My unspoken pain is from love.
Is being in love suffering,
Or am I wanting to die without love.
Yearning love has taken over my heart,
Even though the pain of love is severe.
