Every night I watch the news
Listening to the things they say
I just can't believe that Washington
Would treat the president this way
Congress and the FBI
Has no respect for him it seems
In the man that runs America
And is in charge of all our dreams

Just what is wrong with peoples minds
At finding fault in all he does
Each president deserves a chance
To make us better than we was
If you're not happy after his four years
Then just vote for someone new
But keep your biased views inside
It's the least that you can do

Well I just mean that he's the man
That's trying to make things right
It seems to me he can't succeed
When everyday's a fight
Fighting against democrats
To get them to see his way
Is like the man's climbing a mountain
And just can't make it all the way

In all my years I've never seen
As much hatred for a man
That runs the highest office
Of this or any land
And the media telling us the news
The most biased of them all
They'd like nothing better
And they're trying hard
To see our president fall

Well I just mean that he's the man
That's trying to make things right
It seems to me he can't succeed
When everyday's a fight
Fighting against democrats
To get them to see his way
Is like the man's climbing a mountain
And just can't make it all the way

You'd better be careful of the stones you throw

Будто взбирается на гору он,
И не может до вершины дойти.

За все года не видел я
Такой ненависти к человеку,
Кто высший пост занимает
В этой или любой другой стране.
А СМИ, вещая нам новости,
Самые предвзятые из всех,
Они лишь жаждут одного –
И изо всех сил стремятся
Нашего президента свалить.

Я лишь скажу: он человек,
Кто пытается всё исправить.
Но, кажется, не может он преуспеть,
Когда борьба идёт изо дня в день.
Борясь с демократами, чтоб
Донести до них свой путь,
Будто взбирается на гору он,
И не может до вершины дойти.

А не то сама упадёшь однажды.
